On a stormy Saturday ( I hear a thunderstorm on your wedding day brings good luck ) at 5 o'clock in the evening me and Mike got hitched. Our wedding was donned in purple, candles, satin bows and scrumptious food. We ate, we laughed and we cried. A good time was had by all. We spent one half of our honeymoon in the mountains and the rest of it at the beach, where I fell in love with Wilmington, NC.
Nothing prepares you for the joys, hopes, dreams and failures in a marriage. By now we thought we would have had a baby but that's not God's plan for us right now, although we have the baby itch. By now we thought we would be owning a home, again not God's plan for right now. We do however have a Christ centered marriage and I believe that is why we have been so blessed in our marriage.
I can not tell you how much I love Mike. He is my world, my everything. He can me make laugh at any moment of the day. We have worked together since we got married. I can't tell you how many people have told me that my marriage wouldn't last because we are with each other ALL THE TIME. But that is "us". We don't like to be apart from each other, we love being with each other. We do everything together. I can't think of one day that we have been apart from each other, not one. We don't do the "girls weekend" or the "guys weekend" or the "ladies night out" or the "guys night out", it's not us. We genuinely love being with each other. We finish each others sentences, help each other out, pray together, the list could go on and on. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't be with my husband for a day. I have heard it all, "just wait til 5 years down the road, you want want to be with him all the time", I'm sorry to say this but those people probably had a unhappy marriage and it wasn't a Christ centered marriage.
I am lucky to have a husband that believes in my little endeavors and loves my family with his whole heart. He supports me and I support him. I was told the other night that I was loved more than the day we met. Oh I love him so much!
Here's to another four blissful, spontaneous, Christ filled years of being married to you Mike! I love you more than moon and the stars!

Hi Molly ~ Happy Anniversary! What a wonderful marriage you have and I say "pooy" on those folks that say your marriage won't last because you work together..
May you have many more happy years ahead of you!
Hugz,
Michele
Congrats on your anniversary! My husband and I got married in 2000 and opened a business together the next month. 9 years later we are still going strong. It takes work and patience, but it can be done. Anyways just wanted to say hi and thanks for the tin. I love it...hope you liked yours too.
