The Queen of Hearts
I recently joined a swap in which you make a needle book for you partner. This seems so old fashion and is right up my alley. I have done a little research and searched for some inspiring pictures and have found a dozen of ones I would love to claim my own.
A needle book is where you store all your needles and pins and even thimbles in. I had seen them around but did not know that's what they were called. The ones from the fifties and sixties are pretty too. They are made of paper and have a scene on the front and colored foil inside to hold your pins and needles. There was one that I saw where a few ladies were gathered around a table and embroidering together. I wish times were like that today, so simple. Maybe I can get a few ladies together so we can sit and sew and chat over tea and biscuits. Oh to dream!
Off to get ready for tonight at church. Our Sunday school class has started watching the series Left Behind, since we have been studying the book of Revelations for the past 6 months. We are having pizza and popcorn and then a discussion on the movie. We plan on watching all 3 movies so I think this will be so much fun to spend time with our friends at church. Have a great weekend!

I'm so jealous that you have chickens. Lucky girl!
