Happy Birthday Mikey

Today my sweet little husband is 32!!! YAYAYAYAY!!! I am making his favorite meal which consists of BBQ pork chops ( the BBQ sauce has to be Carolina Treat, his fave), green beans and mashed potatoes, oh and a little cake ( he likes red velvet ).

Thirty two years ago my future husband was born. His grandmother would raise him although his mother and father all lived in the same house. Three years later his brother was born, but only lived to be 14 because he died of Leukemia. Mike and his brother Terry actually started the gumball business that we run successfully today. It was originally called PearceBrothers but Mike changed it when he met me ( I know its, sweet). Mike didn't have the same upbringing like me but that's why God put us together, because your upbringing makes you who you are. So anyways Mike lived in a little trailer down in Benson North Carolina and loved to play for hours outside with his Tonka trucks and his brother. He came to Christ when he was 13 and loved going to church. When he was 18 he moved to Carolina beach, which is only about 20 minutes from Wilmington. He came back to Benson in 2003 to take care of his dad when he had a heart attack. To make ends meet for his family he sold off most of his equipment and got a full time job. When his dad pasted away in December of 2003 he was on his way back to the beach. Four months later we met and have been in separable ever since. This man is the most kindest, loving, giving and God loving man I have ever met. I don't understand how his mother doesn't see that but she has missed out on having a beautiful relationship with him. Everyone that meets him loves him. He is the only man that I know that can start a conversation with a stranger anywhere he goes, oh and he loves office supplies. I should probably tell you he is in love with wrestling. His brother in law is Jay Youngblood and when Mike was little he would let him ring the bell at the Dorten Arena and hang out with the wrestlers in the back. He loves Ric Flair and he told me last week that he used to have two dogs, one named Ric and the other named Flair. HAHAHA!!! He's too cute. I can't tell you how much I love this man, we do everything together. The best thing that I love about our life is that we get to work together everyday. Most people have asked me if he or I gets on each others nerves and they are very surprised when I say no. Mike has a love for the beach like no other. We go there every chance we get and are planning on moving there in the next year. He jokes and says our baby is going to come out with a bathing suit on, HAHA. The beach is in his blood and you can't blame him for loving it.

Happy Birthday my Mikey!!!! I love you with all my heart!!!!!
