Thankful for family

Family, its what binds us together, sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers, aunts and uncles, grandparents, cousins. Even though we may not see eye to eye and listen from ear to ear, we love each other. We might not always get along but we still fight for each other.
Families whether big or small, blended or apart are still family. As we celebrate homecoming and being thankful tomorrow, we need to be especially thankful for our families. My family is very different, I have 2 adoptive siblings, a step brother, a step mother, adoptive friends that have lost touch with their families over the years. We all love each other.

Tomorrow we will be thankful for each other, our health, our freedom, our love, our FAITH, but most of all we will thankful for being able to be together. Tomorrow will be different in the fact that my mom will not be cooking for the first time in 29 years, we will be dining out. After that we will be doing our family tradition of going to the movies. Tomorrow we will be thankful that we can afford a meal when most can't. I pray everyone has a safe and thankful Thanksgiving.
Until I blog again ~ Gal Molly
